Description
This stunning brick and flint property, formerly a farmhouse, has been lovingly restored to a luxurious finish. The light and modern kitchen with high spec appliances is the ideal space for cooking up a storm using fresh produce found along the Norfolk coast. Dine at the large comfortable table, sharing stories over delicious food and a glass of your favourite tipple. There are two elegantly furnished and cosy sitting rooms. One with sumptuous corner sofa, arm chair and impressive woodburning stove which couldn’t be more inviting to while away the evenings. The other aimed at the younger generation decorated with bright colours and offering a TV with Netflix and trunk full of toys and games. The first-floor boasts four beautiful bedrooms, two with en-suite and a large family bathroom with separate shower and bath. Outside in the walled garden you’ll find a private hot tub for use all year round, watch the sun set and let the bubbles gently massage. Gallus House is in the small, picturesque village of Northrepps, only two miles inland from the beaches at Overstrand and three miles from the popular coastal resort of Cromer. The Foundry Arms pub is across the road and there is a shop in the neighbouring village of Southrepps, just a five minute drive away. The north Norfolk beaches are within easy reach with quiet sands that are great for both lazy summer days and bracing winter walks. The Victorian cliff top town of Cromer has all the expected traditional seaside entertainments to hand, as well as a good range of shops and eating places, excellent cliff-top walks, a cinema and Amazona Zoo on its outskirts. The National Trust properties of Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Park Estate are both a short car ride away.
