Reviews

This is a fantastic house. Large with plenty of space in the bedrooms and downstairs. A lovely through lounge with a large dining room table and another kitchen table. Great for kids . We had a craft table set up in the kitchen and we could all eat next door. Seems to be in a quieter area of Sheringham and 5 mins to the beach . The house is beautifully maintained and very well equipped. We had 4-5 years olds so they could walk to the beach . We loved the shell museum and the beach cafes … great for breakfast . I would highly recommend this house it is situated in a splendid location for young families.

Mrs B,

We enjoyed our stay at The Tides. The house is well kitted out and very centrally located for the town and it’s a hop, skip and a jump to the beach.

Ms W,

This is a great place to stay, comfortable and well equipped. It's very close to everything you need on a seaside holiday, i.e., the beach, the sea, several pubs and a plethora of sit down and take away restaurants.

Dr H,

This is a very good location for a large family. It is close to the beach and central to the town and its shops.

Mr C,

Our holiday house (The Tides) was great for a week's stay with the family. The location was wonderful - so near the town and the sea. The house was really well equipped, especially the kitchen. We appreciated the constant hot water and the number of bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. We loved it and would highly recommend it for a family group.

Mrs B,

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tides, 4 adults and 6 children. Very comfortable and clean. Great location for walking into Sherringham and getting to the beach and back. Nice outdoor space and all the necessities. Thanks for a lovely stay

Mrs B,

We were delighted with all aspects of the house. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, wonderful beds, superb location a minute's walk from the beach, quiet road, easy parking in the car park opposite, easy access to shops, nicely presented. Sheringham itself is a very pleasant little town and well located for accessing other attractions in the area.

Mr C,

Perfect location for a family with children. Close to shops and beach!

Mr O,

It was our second visit to this property. As the weather was wet, it was difficult without a tumble dryer. Also the cooking roasting tins were not enough to cook for a family of ten and were of poor quality, I had to buy another tin and a saucepan..

Mrs Susan C,

Location

Sheringham is an old fishing town, now a charming seaside destination that is an excellent location for a holiday in beautiful North Norfolk. The award-winning Blue Flag beach is of flint pebbles when the tide is high, giving way to a large expanse of smooth sand as the tide recedes. There is an assortment of shops, restaurants, tea rooms, a twice weekly market, plus a theatre and the excellent Sheringham golf course. The North Norfolk railway starts from Sheringham,  take a ride into nearby Holt, or Cromer and then onto Norwich. The coastal path leads from the town, and in each direction it climbs the cliffs from where the beautiful Norfolk landscape unfolds.
