Description

Situated in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, this eco-friendly cottage makes for the ideal rural retreat. Ideally positioned to take advantage of some of Norfolk's excellent walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, which can be accessed directly from the farm, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way. The Norfolk Broads are just 13 miles away and is a lovely place to explore, guests can enjoy a river cruise or hire a boat for the day. North Norfolk with its wide sandy beaches as well National Trust properties such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park are all within 20-miles. The cathedral city of Norwich (10 miles) has a vast selection of shops, pubs and eateries, not forgetting it's cultural attractions such as the Cathedral and Norwich Castle.

From arriving at the lodge, the stylish and relaxing décor paired with the breath-taking countryside views will make it easy to leave the everyday hustle and bustle behind. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area with comfortable and custom-built furniture, creates a stylish and relaxing atmosphere perfect for socialising as well as unwinding with friends and family. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need to prepare an evening meal or a hearty breakfast, ready for the day’s adventures. Just off the living area is where you can find the two bedrooms one king sized bedroom and one twin room both with en-suite shower rooms. The property has been built to be as eco-friendly as possible using air source heat pumps, water from a private supply on the farm as well as most of the electricity being provided via the farms large array of solar panels.

Outside, the property has a lovely patio area which can be accessed via the open-plan living area, a great spot for some alfresco dining or just enjoying your morning coffee with fantastic views overlooking the fields and neighbouring countryside. The farm also has its own footpath for guests to enjoy which links directly onto Marriot’s Way.
