The perfect coastal retreat for families and friends, this spacious and homely property situated within National Trust woodland offers all you could need in a relaxing getaway. West Runton is an appealing village situated in North Norfolk. it offers a family friendly beach with crabbing and fossil hunting. There is also a pub, grocers, train station and two cafes as well as a gym, golf and swimming, all to be found within half a mile of the cottage's front door. To the east discover the resort of Cromer with its famous Pier and cliff top walks, as well as Sheringham with the North Norfolk Railway known as the Poppy Line running from Sheringham to the outskirts of Holt town centre and is well worth visiting during your stay. Felbrigg Hall with extensive grounds and Sheringham Park are also worth a visit and have several walking routes to be enjoyed.
Get away from the stresses of everyday life in this welcoming property that offers space throughout and a relaxing atmosphere. The inviting lounge, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and doors opening out onto the wonderful garden is the ideal spot to enjoy one another's company, this flows through into the dining room with its light and airy space, and again with views out over the garden. From here you can then access the snug area with a cosy wood burner and Smart TV. On the opposite side of the ground floor is the utility room and downstairs shower room. This then leads you nicely through to the fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar area and direct access to the outside decking area and pizza oven, as well as the breakfast room with table and chairs, a great space for friends and families to come together over breakfast and plan the day ahead. Upstairs plays host to the four bedrooms, a shower room, and a Jack and Jill bathroom situated between 2 of the double bedrooms. There are plenty of bedroom configurations with 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room, catering for parties of all ages. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with one of the double rooms having its own balcony overlooking the garden, a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee. This particular bedroom can also be accessed directly from a spiral staircase situated in the breakfast room below.
Outside, the property has a large, terraced sloping garden with lawned areas, a pond (please be mindful of young children), as well as plenty of flowers and shrubs. Dotted throughout the garden are a number of seating areas where guests can enjoy peace and quiet. At the top of the garden, you will find a wonderful, decked area with floor lighting as well as your own brick-built BBQ/pizza oven. At the bottom of the garden you will find a woodland area which is great for young explorers. (There is a steep slope down to this area).
