Reviews

Very good for dogs/dog owners.

Mr M,

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well equipped, the welcome basket was an unexpected treat with biscuits, crisps, honey and teabags. Owners were lovely they actually also own the cottage attached. Fantastic location.

Mrs J,

A lovely modern cottage with easy access to lots of things to do.

Mr D,

Dingley Dell is perfect, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need, and the spa bath adds some luxury. Loved the velux windows and being able to look at the stars at night (there are blinds if you prefer it dark). The location is great for touring the area and there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep.

Miss W,

Brilliant cottage lovely owners and there dogs

Mr L,

The cottage was clean and comfortable, the owners haven't overlooked anything. Its position was very handy for all the local attractions but in a quite spot.

Mr W,

Lovely cottage, very friendly and helpful owners, (generous welcome basket), nice quiet village, excellent base for Northumberland. Wonderful village shop, and you must try the quiche!

Mr O,

This was our 2nd visit to Dingley Dell and as before was lovely. The cottage is beautiful especially the bed - so comfortable. First time for us to meet Phil, Sue and the dogs, very nice people and especially welcoming. We would certainly book this cottage again.

Mrs R,

A really nice cottage in a great village. Very dog friendly. We had a great week and the owners of the cottage are very friendly and welcoming.

Mr S,

Clean and very comfortable

Mr S,

Lovely cottage owned by a very friendly couple. Great location for visiting the coast. So dog friendly totally enclosed. Their dogs were a joy too obviously used to strange dogs visiting.

Mrs G,

Lovely cottage, great bathroom with spa bath. Location handy for the coast Berwick down to Alnwick. Village store really handy and had a good selection/range. Only one pub in the village was open when we visited, The White Swan. Food available but a limited menu, although the Fish and Chips I received was massive and good value for money,

Mr W,

Once we found Dingley Dell, not the easiest to find in the dark ! We found the perfect one bed cottage. Done beautifully inside. Very comfortable. As it was winter we didn’t use the enclosed garden. Must be perfect in the warmer months. Lowick is very central for exploring. 2 hotels/ pubs to dine out at. If you are looking for a fresh, bright well appointed cottage stay at Dingley Dell.

Mrs J,

We had a lovely few days at Dingley Dell. The cottage is warm, clean, cosy and has everything you could need.

Mrs D,

A lovely weekend away. Dingley Dell has everything we could have wanted. Lovely decor, warm welcome, and 2 really good pubs within an easy walk where we had lovely food. Our small dog loved the small enclosed courtyard and the cottage was within easy reach of all of the most beautiful Northumbrian beaches and sights. Would really recommend.

Prof N,

This was our second visit to Dingley Dell this year. It is ideally situated for visiting the area in every direction. The accommodation is very comfortable and Phil and Sue are thoughtful and friendly hosts. The Village Shop is an excellent asset.

Mrs H,

Beautiful spacious cottage in a lovely village. Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable relaxing holiday. Had a great stay.

Mrs F,

Very welcoming and comfortable cottage, and the owners were lovely. Fabulous dog-friendly approach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Mrs R,

Compact, comfortable accommodation within a short drive to dog friendly Cocklawburn beach and Northumberland National Park. A useful local shop and eat in and take way food is available from The White Swan Inn opposite. The welcome basket provided by Phil and Sue was much appreciated .

Mrs H,

Lovely break, good location and super cottage accessible to lots of lovely places and explored some we haven't been to before.

Pauline and family,

A delightful cottage in a very convenient location for accessing the most beautiful beaches in England. The bed was amazingly huge and so comfortable. The best bed we've ever slept in! Best of all, you are dog friendly. Thank you for a warm welcome and providing such a clean, comfortable and stylish holiday home.

Previous Customer,

A very comfortable and excellently presented property. Superb for pet owners with plenty facilities and located in a good village with plenty of walks for your pets also a good village pub which too allows dogs in the bar. Definitely a property we will consider on future visits.

Mrs C,

Property in good location ,property was very well maintained, quiet and relaxing. Met owner on first day who said just to ask if we needed anything, we didn’t so just saw them on last day. Would recommend this property to friends and family.

Mr Jonathan P,

Dingley Dell is a lovely cosy, light cottage with a modern interior. It is situated off the Main Street in Lowick village, Northumberland and is safe and secure. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the owners welcome well behaved dogs. You have your own private patio and off street car parking. Situated not far from Holy Island, 15 mins distance and within easy access to beaches. Alnwick, Alnmouth, Seahouses and Bamburgh are about 1/2 to 40 min drive away. The cottage and area did not disappoint,

Mrs Lesley H,

Excellent cottage. What we didn't like was the reminder of our departure time. Also we were required to strip the bedding on our departure.
