Reviews

An excellent property

Mr J,

Great location, comfortable house, thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Mr B,

A very comfortable cottage which was very clean and extremely well stocked to help make the stay enjoyable. Garden area very nice and ideal for sunny days to relax after a day out. Perfect location for Beadnell, Beadnell beach and the Landing (well worth a visit!) and a great location to visit other delights and sights in this area of Northumberland, including Seahouses, Craster, Low Newton, Alnwick, Amble, Warkworth etc. Thank you

Miss C,

Having visited Northumbria for the first time two years ago staying at Samphire cottage in Beadnell, and loving every minute of our holiday, we decided to return this year. Both the cottage and location are perfect for us and our two dogs..... so comfortable ….. a real home from home and easy access to Bamburgh, Alnwick and Scotland too! We would definitely return and stay here again.

Mrs S,

My sister, dog, and I had a lovely week at Samphire. The house is a home from home with everything you need, including a very handy heated drying rail. We were disappointed, however, not to find a dvd player downstairs as advertised. The house is spotlessly clean and felt fresh on our arrival. The open plan room is light and airy with plenty of comfy seating to cosy into after a long walk. The house is perfectly positioned, close to the spectacular beach and The Landing restaurant. Beadnell village centre is a 15 minute walk away along Harbour Road with some wonderful views. Samphire is at the end of a small terrace which makes it more private than other properties with a large grassy area outside, perfect for those early morning doggy visits. The garden is small but catches the sun for alfresco dining and the artificial turf keeps it clean and mud-free.

Ms H,

Easy access to beach. Well equipped cottage for us and our dog. Secure garden for an inquisitive jack russell. Great place to stay, hope to be back soon.

Mrs H,

Decent property, close to the beach with an enclosed garden good for dogs. Large grassy area directly outside as well. A nice village with several eating places for breakfast/lunch and 1 pub for dinner. Very close to Seahouses as the nearest town with a co-op etc. 15-20 mins to Alnwick for bigger supermarkets, which wasn’t too bad, although the roads leading onto the A1 were a bit ropey with poor sign posting and lots of potholes, not great to drive at night time. Overall, a good location right on the coast. Handy for touring the area.
