Reviews

The house wasn't clean, the oven was terrible and within an hour of being there we were covered in white dog hairs. We tried to vacuum them but it wasn’t powerful enough. The towels had a smell and had to be washed plus the shower drain wouldn’t drain away as was full of hairs.

Mr M,

Perfect location and very comfortable

Mr S,

Very enjoyable stay in a lovely location.

Mr B,

Lovely property and excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Mrs C,

We loved our time at No 5 Longbeach! The garden was stunning and the extra room in the garden was fantastic for the children!! They escaped the adults regularly to go to the “movie room” as they named it. The location was the selling point and we went to the beach every day at some point. The owners were so great, any issues (minor) were dealt with swiftly. The downstairs shower room came in handy especially for getting sand off people! The kitchen/ dining area was a slightly strange lay out as there isn’t much storage in the kitchen itself, so we did spend a fair amount of time walking from one area to another for a bowl or spoon. We loved this holiday, and would definitely return again!

Ms W,

Besides the above everything else was excellent. Great location and the summer house a nice extra.

Mr S,

What an amazing property in an amazing location. This is our second time in this property and just sorting dates for us to come again next year. The property works for all the family young and old. Honestly couldn’t wish for anything more.

Mrs K,

What a beautiful house and garden, we were totally at home and relaxed. Very comfortable beds, the house was a short walk to a huge beach and a short drive to other places of interest

Mr H,

No, 5 Longbeach Drive is a warm, comfortable, spacious property, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The house has a very pleasant garden with table and chairs for 'al-fresco' dining also a very cosy summer house, and is situated a short walk from a long sandy beach. Our only minor complaint was the lack of wardrobe space in two of the bedrooms and a television which certainly confused 'older brains'. We had some good weather so were able to explore the countryside: one day following the England Coast Path down to Craster (and back) straight from the house, we took a boat trip to the Farne Island on a gloriously sunny day which gave us up-close sightings of thousands of seabirds, including puffins and the boat was escorted back to harbour by a pod of dolphins. A perfect day. Bamburgh, Alnwick, Berwick and Warkworth, Cragside are close by, but there are so many places to visit that you really need more than a week to explore so No. 5 Longbeach Drive is the ideal place to stay to do just that. Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed their stay (except for the frustrating television!)

Ms M,

Lovely comfy beds, great location 30 secs from the beach, well equipped. Loved the log burner for chilly evenings.

Mr G,

Excellent accommodation in top condition. Great location

Mrs S,

Lovely cottage, good spacious rooms, fantastic location and really great value, we loved being able to walk to the beach and local in a few minutes. Garden would be brill in the nicer weather. Highly recommend.
