Description
Set on the harbour wall in Seahouses, this wonderful cottage is close to amenities, and is well situated for families to visit castles, coastline, and countryside in Northumberland. The village has everything you need including shops, pubs, and places to eat. Enjoy watching the boats come and go in the harbour, or take your own trip to the Farne Islands where a variety of wildlife lives. Visit Bamburgh (2.5 miles) and soak up the sun on the superb sandy beach, or visit the imposing medieval castle. Stretch your legs and breathe in the sea breeze on the Northumberland Coast Path, or hop in the car and head to Alnwick Castle and Garden (15 miles), recognisable from the Harry Potter films.
Access this single-storey home and find an open-plan and sociable living space. Enjoy cooking in the contemporary kitchen and pull out the pretty, farmhouse-style table to dine. Afterwards, get comfortable in the lounge which boasts a beamed, vaulted ceiling and a warming flame effect electric fire. Off the lounge is the bunk bedroom, perfect for two children, and down the hall is the delightful double bedroom which has plenty of storage space and is a pleasant retreat. A family bathroom completes the interior which has a shower over the bath.
Take the double doors from the kitchen out to an enclosed gravel garden which has a table and chairs for al fresco dining, and a bench to sit and watch the world go by. To the front of the property is a shared courtyard area with car parking spaces.

The cottage is close to all the village amenities - shops, butchers, bakers (no candlestick maker tho), pubs & restaurants, newsagents, petrol station, library, resource centre for internet access, takeaways, and the harbour where you can leave on excursions to visit the Farne Islands, to see Puffins (June & July), Grey Seals and many other species of birds.
