Description
This charming stone-built cottage is situated in the Old Quarter of Seahouses and is located just 150 metres from the beach, making it an ideal base for a family or group of friends wanting a seaside holiday. The scenic harbour of Seahouses offers plenty of places to eat, drink and explore. Bamburgh, with its large sandy beach and spectacular sea-facing castle, is 3 miles away and is accessible on foot via a coastal footpath. The ground floor of this stunning property includes a double-height atrium which houses a comfortable dining area. The dual-aspect living area is spacious and stylishly furnished and is a wonderful space for relaxing and gathering. The kitchen includes original features including an inglenook fireplace housing the cooker, stained glass windowpanes and exposed stone walls. The snug, complete with a cosy wood burner, bookcase and TV, provides additional room for socializing, and the dining room, situated in the large entrance atrium, offers a sunny place to eat and catch up. A WC and utility room complete the ground floor. Wooden stairs lead to a stunning mezzanine galleried landing and the property’s three bedrooms. The bedrooms comprise a super-king-size, a king-size and a twin - all feature exposed beams, Velux windows and TVs, and the first two have en-suite shower rooms. The family bathroom, with a large bathtub for sinking into, completes the accommodation.
