Description
Enjoy a romantic couple's escape or solo holiday to this single-storey cottage in a delightful historic fishing village of Seahouses in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wake up and hear the sounds of the crashing waves which are just 45 metres away, over the harbour wall. The sandy Seahouses Beach is 1 mile away and is an excellent place for an evening stroll, and Annstead Dunes less than 1 mile in the opposite direction. If you’d like to dine out, the village offers a host of excellent eateries and pubs to finish the day off with a drink. If you head 15 miles south, you’ll find Alnwick Castle and Garden which was a filming location for Harry Potter.
As you enter the property, you’ll find yourself inside a small porch where you can take off your shoes and jacket. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a cosy and comfortable space with a characterful wooden beamed ceiling and a long, cottage-style window which lets in a stream of natural light, making the room bright and airy. The one-walled kitchen is compact but well organised with sparkling surfaces. After cooking a special homemade meal, dine with your loved one at the drop-down dining table with chairs. Then relax on the sofa in front of the Smart TV with Netflix. Make yourself at home and unpack your belongings in the tranquil bedroom with an elegant double bed. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with WC.
Outside there is a courtyard which is shared with the neighbouring properties. In front of the cottage, there is a bench for dining alfresco after cooking dinner on the BBQ.
