Reviews

Delightful little cottage near the harbour, very snug but made an excellent base for exploring the region. Smell of drains was somewhat off-putting.

Mr R,

Very dog friendly with double doors. Excellent location, would definitely recommend

Mrs H,

Every thing was very good, excellent location.I will be stopping there again.

Mr B,

What a delightful cottage so near to all the facilities at Seahouses! 1 minute walk from benches looking over the harbour and coastal cliff walk. 5 mins if that walking distance to the town center, brilliant to phone up, collect and sample the local takeaway curries and fish and chips in the comfort of the cottage. Excellent off street parking right outside cottage so convenient. I stayed here alone and found the space perfect! A really nice big shower, lovely towels and a really comfortable double bed. The cottage was well equipped with an Alexa and smart tv , after birdwatching it was lovely to come back to home comforts! The whats app and telephone contact with the owner was fantastic!!! Sorted out my Netflix better than BT would!

Miss D,

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Although the property is small it is very cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Since our last visit it has been refurbished to a very high standard. It is in a great location and benefits from parking on site. The owners are lovely and very helpful if you need to contact them. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Northumberland.

Mrs P,

Nice little cottage excellent location to the harbour /town

Mr T,

Fabulous is the best way to describe this cottage! It is very clean and tidy inside with all of the facilities needed for a short break. The location is fantastic - right by the harbour and minutes away from a number of pubs. The main street is only 5 minutes walk away, so grabbing a bite to eat is simplicity itself. The added benefit is the allocated parking space right outside the door.

Mr D,

Well located and generally comfortable cottage, close to all amenities and the coast. Bed very comfortable; shower not very powerful but adequate. Kitchen equipped with everything you could need.

Dr H,

For the price a good place for a base in Northumberland Clean and relatively well equipped the parking is as described but if other Guests don't park thoughtfully it can be a bit tight. The size of the access arch requires great care when driving in /out no really usable outside space court yard cobbles are uneven and a bit grubby. I would stay again. if your expecting sea views this is not for you however walk 40 meters from the front door and you are looking down into the harbour there are seats bench's to sit and enjoy the vista this is a small property providing good clean accommodation and facilities.

Mr T,

Lovely cottage in Central Seahouses. Perfect base for visiting the area.

Mr D,

This was our first experience of a rented cottage and whilst our expectations about the cottage may have been a little higher than a holiday camp cabin we still enjoyed our stay. The bedroom is a little cramped making dressing and undressing difficult at the sides of the bed. There are birds nesting above the door and it was necessary to wipe the door handle outside before using it, but you cannot stop nature doing its thing. The area was quiet and peaceful and no noise from neighbours. We had misinterpreted the description of the location of the property as being directly on the harbour side and therefore expected harbour views, but this was our fault for making some assumptions. There had been a problem wwith the electrics blowing the main fuse when we first got there but this was quickly attended to by the owners after a phone call. This had been an unfortunate result of the wet weather affecting the door entry light outside. No ones fault just the weather.

Mr B,

Fantastic location great value for money Warm and cozy

Mr M,

very small cottage.no space to put anything

Mr F,
