Reviews

For a one bedroom apartment it is adequate if not spacious. The seating in the lounge was quite uncomfortable and did not look anything like the picture on the website. The position of the apartment is very good with everything in walking distance in the village.

Mr H,

Shockingly basic accomodation. Only one tiny sofa and a tiny TV on the wall. Made relaxing in the lounge almost impossible. No TV in the bedroom so couldnt watch TV in there either! Decent shower but very small bathroom.and kitchen area. Good location for accessing seahouses. Owner offered to refund money and leave but given that it was a bank holiday weekend and we had a dog we found it really difficult to find alternative accomodation for the following two nights of our break. If we could have found somewhere else we certainly would have. In the end we ended up staying as the alternative was to go home to Yorkshire and cut short our eagerly anticipated break to Northumberland. The accomodation but a dampner on our holiday but Northumberland is a stunning place to visit. The owner offered to give us a 20% discount in the end but this didn't detract from the huge dissapointment of the accomodation.

Mr M,

Great location central to all amenities and easy access to coastal walks.

Dr C,

5 star cottage very comfortable clean and tidy

Mr B,

My only complaint was that the freezer box in the fridge was 'iced up', which made it impossible to close the compartment door. In addition, the main light in the lounge was not working. However this did not cause any problems.

Mr F,

Very good quality equipment and decor was of high standard. Large bed was extremely comfortable. Perfectly situated for access to Seahouses harbour and High Street with abundance of eating places and shops. Good location for tours of Northumberland. Off-street parking is also very useful.

Mr A,

Clean and well equipped and within walking distance of harbour and eating places

Mr B,

Excellent cottage for two in the centre of Seahouses. Great location and very comfortable and cosy.
