Reviews

Great house in a great village two minutes from the A1 which enables easy access to the whole of the area.

Mr C,

Beautifully appointed home in great location. Would definitely consider returning.

Mrs L,

Spacious and well equipped, great for family holiday.

Dr M,

Stone House is a modern house set in the picturesque village of Ellingham, yet only a few minutes drive from the A1. The house is ideal if you are attending weddings at Newton Hall or Ellingham Hall and all the attractions of Northumberland are within easy reach. The property is very well insulated for sound and thermal comfort. There was ample parking for three vehicles on the forecourt with additional car parkng on the road. The house is comfortably furnished with good quality accessories and very well equipped. The rear garden is fully enclosed which was ideal for our two young grandchildren. The garden overlooks the grounds of Ellingham Hall and you can see the landscaped gardens and resident peacocks. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are three spacious bathrooms upstairs and a ground floor toilet. We had an enjoyable stay at this property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Mr S,

Lovely house in a fantastic position for visiting Northumberland. Clean and very comfortable, in a quiet location but with a pub five minutes walk away doing excellent food. Would definitely go back.

Mr D,

We had a lovely stay in this warm and comfortable house. It was very well equipped for a family holiday and furnished to a high quality. In a quiet and beautiful village and close to all the beauty Northumberland is famous for. Thankyou!

Mrs D,

We enjoyed our stay very much, felt like home from home for us. There was a blip with the heating and hot water on our arrival, but this was sorted efficiently by the agents, extra logs were left for us and by the day after our arrival we had hot water ( heating was not required during our stay). We explored much of Northumberland and enjoyed the quiet location of this property.

Miss D,

Stone house is a fantastic property, well equipped, spacious with all the equipment that you need. The large bedrooms, beds and bathrooms are second to none and the house was exceptionally clean- would highly recommend and we will be back again soon.
