Description

This large family home enjoys a prime location in the historic harbour area of the fishing village of Seahouses. The property sleeps six guests and makes an excellent seaside retreat for large families and groups of friends. The holiday home is just a short walk (200 metres) from the village’s bustling harbour and sandy beach. Spend your days on the beach, building sandcastles, eating ice creams, or even enjoying a surf amongst the waves. The town is awash with independent pubs and eateries, offering a great variety of local dishes and fresh seafood for you to try. Seahouses is probably best known as the ‘Gateway to the Farne Islands’. From the harbour, you can hop on a boat to explore these magical islands that are just off the Northumberland coast, giving you an opportunity to spot a whole host of rare wildlife, including puffins, seals, and dolphins. There are several picturesque towns and villages within 20 miles of the property, which make fascinating day trips, including Bamburgh, Alnwick, and Amble.

Enter the holiday home through the front door, where you’ll find plenty of space to store sandy boots and winter coats. From here, wander into the large lounge/kitchen/diner. This space is bright and welcoming and has been impeccably renovated to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. A beautiful, solid wooden floor runs throughout the ground level, two sumptuous sofas sit next to the Smart TV, and there is a large dining table for enjoying memorable mealtimes together. The sleek kitchen area has ample worktop space and all the appliances needed to rustle up delicious meals for the group. Heading upstairs, you’ll find a tasteful king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony that looks over the harbour, as well as a TV for enjoying lazy mornings in bed and a handy en-suite bathroom. Down the hallway, you’ll reach the bright and airy twin room, again with a TV and en-suite facilities. A further flight of stairs takes you to the second floor, where you’ll find a spacious king-size bedroom, with a dressing area, TV, and en-suite bathroom.

There is no outdoor space with this property. However, with the harbour and beach just a 200-metre walk away, you’ll have ample opportunity for enjoying picnics on the sand or sunset strolls before dinner.
