This beautiful house has recently been refurbished and is furnished to a very high standard, providing the perfect base for couples, groups and families to explore the town and county. From the house, walk into Amble, a popular fishing town on the Northumberland coast known as the ‘friendliest port’, to discover its stunning beach and fantastic shops and cafes. Admire the pretty beach huts en route to the harbour (just over 300 metres away), with gorgeous views towards Coquet Island. Explore the area on the Northumberland Coast Path, which passes through Amble and on to the pretty village of Warkworth, 1.5 miles away, where the castle and hermitage preside over the River Coquet. Visit the ever-popular fishing village of Seahouses (21 miles away) to try the excellent local seafood or Alnwick, just 9 miles away, is a must-see, with a magnificent castle which was the backdrop to two of the first Harry Potter movies and also featured in Downton Abbey. There are also regular markets and lovely shops.

This is a fabulous property both inside and out. The ground floor has been extended to create a spacious, beautifully decorated, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with contemporary furnishings, comfy sofas and a cosy electric fire. Reviews

This property was the best equipped cottage we have stayed in. We felt welcome as nsoonas we opened the front door. There was a superb welcoming pack and the property contained everything the holidaymaker needs. The beds were comfortable and the en suite facilities were excellent. The weather was poor for much of our stay but the property was such that we were happy to spend much of our time indoors reading. We can't recommend Grace cottage too highly. We hope to return. The

Mr H,

Excellent location, very well equipped cottage, extremely comfortable and brilliant host. Cannot fault anything and would highly recommend a visit to beautiful Amble.

Mrs H,

Grace cottage is a lovely home from home place to stay, very well equipped there is everything you need and more, a short walk into the town of Amble would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Amble great base for exploring other places in Northumberland would definitely go back.

Mrs H,

We stayed at Grace Cottage in Amble and everything was perfect. Amble was a perfect base for visiting Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Berwick, Seahouses, Cragside House and all the other popular places in Northumberland. Also with the great variety of eating places in Amble we had a great week.

Mr O,

The cottage was beautifully decorated and designed a real home from home with everything you need for a fantastic holiday the welcome gift was amazing very thoughtful Definitely book again when we visit Amble if Grace cottage is available

Mrs L,

This review is going to sound SO good that you may doubt that it is real. Have no fear, this property and it's location in beautiful Amble are almost impossible to criticise at any level. The property has undergone recent improvements and upgrades to a very high standard. Spacious, impeccably decorated and super-well equipped. Amble is every bit as friendly as it's marketing blurb claims. Stunning fresh fish (straight off the boat), seafood restaurants to die for, and do visit the 'Mad Jam Woman'. Great local wild birdlife and walks along the river (with a sculpture trail!). Difficult to find the words really, so I'll simply say a sincere 'Than You!'.

Mr L,

An absolutely amazing holiday home - spotlessly clean, really well-equipped and beautifully furnished. Great location too. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Thank you!

Mr T,

The cottage exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, comfort and facilities. Good location near the beach and many places of interest.

Mrs F,

Lovely cottage, well equipped and very comfortable. Really good location

Mrs S,

A superb ‘cottage’ in all respects. Would certainly use it again and recommend it unreservedly.

Mr K,

Great little house in a great location for relaxing or as a base for exploring everything Northumbria has to offer. It is very modern and cosy with all you need to settle in quickly whether eating in or eating out in the many hospitable places that Amble and the surrounding areas have available to you. Would definitely go back.

Mr D,

We hit the jackpot at Grace Cottage 5 Star everything, so we'll equipped, so comfortable and great location

Mrs P,

Very nice cottage in a great location for the harbour, shops and pier

Mrs H,

An extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped house with a very helpful host. It was walking distance from the beautiful Amble harbour area which has good food and drink facilities. Within easy reach of beautiful beaches both north and south and fantastic castles, gardens and wildlife areas.

Mrs H,

The accommodation was excellent - a very modern and well laid out house, very comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Mr O,

A lovely little mid-terrace house - "cottage" is perhaps stretching things a little - in a very nice part of England. It has everything you could possibly need and more; it was one of the best equipped properties in which we have ever stayed and we were very impressed from the moment we opened the door to the lounge. It may not suit all people: for instance, we struggled to come to terms with the on-the-road, first come first served parking; others may find Amble lacking in comparison to some of its ostensibly more picturesque neighbours (we didn't) or; the house may just be too small for them. In our view, it was perfect for two and could easily take four. It was warm, cosy and comfortable (especially the bed) and perfect for a week's break... even at the end of October. We'd go back.

Mr M,
