There is a large conservatory that makes the best of the excellent grounds, with views of Darley Dale and beyond being the most visible from this space. You can come together to eat here and relax, access the rose garden beyond, and take time to immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings. There is a billiards room with a full-size billiards table, with soft seating around, great for people to test their skills against one another.

Upstairs (there is a lift to the upper floors), there is a mix of 9 beautiful bedrooms, 6 doubles, 2 king size and 1 twin, all with unique designs and comfortable spaces. Three have their own living rooms, all have en-suites and there is the matron's bedroom that has a cot and also a toddler bed that is adjoining to one of the main rooms.

The spa has everything that you could imagine, from the 20-meter heated swimming pool, very well-equipped gym, bubbling jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and poolside loungers. You will be spoilt for ways to relax.

Outside, you have not only the rose garden that leads off from the conservatory, there is open parkland with mature tree’s and stunning views, where deer roam and artwork hides among tree’s or sits along the hillside. Reviews

Absolutely huge (you will lose your kids at some point!) but amazing place to stay with a group as big as ours was. Would love to come here for a wedding too! The service from Lisa and co was outstanding and I’m a fussy one when it comes to service but couldn’t fault the help we were given from start to finish! If we can afford it we will definitely be back one day as there is so much nearby we didn’t get to see as having so much fun in the house and gardens we don’t need to venture far… although gullivers land was fabulous for the kids (despite the awful hill it’s on!)

Mrs P,

Phenomenal. We went for week but made a life time of memories. The facilities are excellent and kept us entertained all week. If you have a family celebration that requires something special, Stancliffe Hall had something for everyone.

Mr P,

We stayed at Stancliffe Hall as a large group to celebrate a birthday and would thoroughly recommend it as a venue for a large group stay. The house is beautiful, facilities are excellent and it is perfectly equipped for your stay. The hosts were very helpful and answered all of our queries, and we loved that we could take our dogs to enjoy it too. Thank you.

Miss D,

A great venue for multi-generation stays., bonus is the swimming pool and the adjacent Dales.

Mr S,
