February Half Term Cottages in the Lake District

Beat the winter blues with a stay in a beautiful self catering Lake District cottage in February half term. We have a range of property sizes to suit so that you can bring the extended family and involve Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and friends or just be exclusive and spend quality time with the kids. Most of our cottages are also dog friendly so the whole family can be included.

As well as gorgeous scenery, and the chance of a little powdering of snow, there are many family-friendly activities in the area. This year we are celebrating 150 years of the birth of Beatrix Potter with a number of fun events. There are also trips on the Lakes to be had, forests to explore or glide through the trees on a zip-wire. You could take a steam train ride or go to the beach to fly a kite. There are Roman remains, castles and interactive museums. If you like nature you can stay at one of our cottages on a working farm. There are also a number of rare breed farms and animal parks in the area or just see how many Herdwick sheep you can count on your walks.

Our cottages also have a range of board games, books and DVDs for days when you want to be quieter and some properties have extra features such as darts, pool and table tennis tables. Everything you would need to keep the whole family entertained over the holiday break.
