Watchet overlooks the Bristol Channel and boasts breath-taking views along the unspoilt West Somerset coast and across to Wales. Dive into the town’s maritime heritage at Watchet Market House Museum, Radio Museum and Watchet Boat Museum all within 0.5 miles before strolling around its pretty marina, harbour and range of cafes, restaurants, shops and weekly summer market. Board a traditional steam train at the West Somerset Railway (325 metres) to journey through the beautiful Somerset countryside or hunt for fossils at the rocky Watchet Beach (less than 0.5 miles) beside the harbour. The magnificent walking country of Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty can be reached within 8.5 miles.

On entering this attractive townhouse, you will find yourself in the hall. The kitchen/diner will capture your imagination, inspiring you to get creative with your fabulous local produce. The homely lounge, with its soft furnishings is a great space for pure relaxation; throw open the patio doors to unwind to the soothing evening breeze. Completing the ground floor is a useful WC. Heading to the first floor, you will find a king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony, a cosy bunk bedroom boasting views towards Watchet Steam Railway Station and a contemporary family bathroom. The second floor comprises of an en-suite king-size bedroom tucked beneath the eaves, which features wonderful rooftop views through the Velux windows.

From sunrise to sunset, the enclosed courtyard is a haven of tranquillity; enjoy your lazy morning coffee or a glass of something chilled at sundown as children and your four legged friend plays to their heart’s content. Outside, there’s allocated parking for two cars and additional parking in the neighbouring public car park (additional charges apply).

Cottage was clean and comfortable and in a great location. Really enjoyed our stay. Having 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo was a real bonus.
