Reviews

We enjoyed our stay at The Courthouse. The first floor open living area is a great comfortable space for a large group. The property is ideally situated and a short walk to the pub, beach and Meare.

Miss M,

The location is super. Walking to beach and mere. We were 6 adults, one ten year old and one 12 week old baby and the space meant room for everyone And it looks lovely

Mrs T,

Location is ideal. The proximity to beach, pub, cafe, mere and all the facilities is faultless. Just a short journey to the excellent Co-op in Leiston makes up for the lack of a grocery shop. Aldeborough has a wonderful high street with restaurants and other high class outlets. The area has many attractions which are not commercialised and the scenery is stunning. The house is spacious and comfortable and the upside down layout really works for a large family gathering.

Mrs B,

We had a brilliant stay at the courthouse, the house is beautiful and has everything and more that you would need for a stay there. Lovely location, right by a pub which we had a meal and was really good, also brilliantly located for the lake which we hired boats. Also had a horse and carriage ride from outside into Aldeburgh which was fab. Would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a quiet stay somewhere.

Mrs W,

The Courthouse is perfect for large parties, perfect location for nipping in The Dolphin for something to eat. The layout (upside-down) is quirky and adds that fun feel to it. Well equipped and certainly large enough for more than one family to holiday together. Would definitely return.

Mrs G,

Great location, fun place to stay with friends and a really lovely open first floor for socialising.

Ms S,

Fantastic location, great space but be prepared for bad mattresses and being awakened at dawn by the light.

Mrs D,

This is a wow property, the upstairs is fabulous, great for a group of friends, very close to a good pub and beach and lots to do in the area. We loved it and would come back.
