This cosy cottage has undergone a complete transformation to bring modern style, fixtures, and fittings to a Grade II listed home. Careful consideration has been made to ensure the original character of this cottage is showcased in all its glory with the added contemporary luxuries that guests are looking for.
During your stay here at Perry Acres Cottage, rest and relax by snuggling up on the lush velvet sofa, in front of a roaring fire, after a long walk in the surrounding countryside. The master bedroom is a private oasis waiting for a peaceful night’s sleep to recharge those batteries ready to explore this beautiful area and the newly fitted shaker style kitchen has all you could need to whip up a delicious dinner for you to enjoy too. Step outside into the south facing ‘suntrap’ courtyard garden to simply relax or enjoy a barbecue on those long summer evenings.

Master Bedroom: King bed, bedside tables with lamps, built in wardrobe and dressing table.
Bathroom: Bath, separate rainforest shower, washbasin, wc and heated towel rail. Washer/dryer in airing cupboard off of bathroom.
SECOND FLOOR
Bedroom 2: Single bed, bedside table with lamp, chest of drawers and desk/workspace.
Outside: Enclosed private courtyard, dining table with seating for 4 guests, bench and storage shed containing freezer.
Parking: 1 private parking space.
Heating: Oil central heating. Wood burning stove (starter pack with kindling/logs supplied)
Pets: Sorry no pets allowed.
Notes: Wi-Fi, towels and bedding provided. Wooden cottage stairs with narrow treads in places. Please note- There is a secure shed at the front of the property for bikes.
This ideal destination is just a short drive from the bustling market town of Framlingham (market – Tuesday and Saturday), full of boutique shops, quaint cafes and home to the English Heritage site, Framlingham Castle. The impressive 12th century fortress was the inspiration for international pop star, Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Castle on the Hill’. The well-known song refers to the castle in Sheeran’s home town and reminisces tales of his upbringing in the area.
Take a day trip to the picturesque Suffolk coast with the seaside towns and villages of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Thorpeness and Orford all within a 40 minute drive of Perry Acres Cottage. Experience a tour of the Adnams brewery in Southwold, visit the Scallop statue at Aldeburgh beach or simply take a coastal stroll and eat some scrumptious fish and chips – there is something for everyone in Suffolk!
