The cottage was perfect for us. It's a lovely, charming place, in a great, quiet little path in town, and it has a great view. Although we didn't spend much time indoors at all, it was very cleàn, cosy, well equipped and organized and super quiet, which was very important to us. Very comfy bed, my partner is quite tall so he found it a bit on the smaller side, but awesome sleep quality. It was a little corner of paradise, we hope to come back one day!

Lovely old cottage in a wonderful location. Not large, but clean and well equipped, with a very friendly and responsive owner. And located on a footpath, so no cars (though that also means a 50m carry for luggage). Highly recommended

Great effort was made by the owner to make our visit festive over Xmas( tree and decorations)!

the location is absolutely quiet, though it is very central. It is ideal for two or three guests.It´s a beautiful little house with a small frontgarten, very romantic.

This Harbour Cottage is a unique property in that its interior has not been updated in some time which gives it a quaintness and old worldliness that adds to its charm. It is reminiscent of visiting the homes of older relatives in years gone by. It is why we like staying here. The location is perfect. The views are wonderful. The bedrooms are very clean and well kitted out with crisp fresh linen. It is a privelege to stay in such an unspoilt location.

We loved stopping in this characterful cottage which was in a wonderful location and had everything you needed for a weeks holiday. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of information.

Great location. Comfortable cottage. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped though lack of freezer compartment for ice. We had a great holiday. Gibbet Marsh car park easiest and cheapest. Daily charge from 7pm to 7pm next day, 24 hours for £2.60. Many thanks for a stress free booking which more than lived up to our expectations. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of information.

Harbour Cottage was immaculately presented and delightfully and comfortably furnished. Its position on a steeply ascending footpath offers wonderful views of the town, river and surrounding countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will almost certainly return.

This is my 2nd visit to Harbour cottage because I loved it so much the 1st time! It’s a beautiful cottage set in the centre of Rye and it had everything I needed for a very warm and comfortable stay. The bed is to die for! I will definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful time in Rye. The cottage is utterly charming, warm and comfortable and somehow fitted with all amenities despite the limited space — and in a perfect location as well. We will certainly come back!

It was the perfect retreat, delightfully presented with many thoughtful touches and decorations. Its location made it ideal for exploring the town without the noise of constant traffic, vehicular or pedestrian; it was a fine place to spend three nights between Christmas and New Year. We would be happy to recommend your property and would like to think we may stay there again, perhaps in warmer, dryer and brighter weather!

This adorable cottage had everything I wanted to make my stay very warm and comfortable. It has the most beautiful view over Winchelsea beach towards Fairlight in the distance and it’s even more stunning at night with moonlight! The locale of Rye is very beautiful especially now all the Christmas lights are up in the high street and in the windows of houses! I also wanted to explore Romney marshes, Rye harbour, Brighton, Hastings, Battle and all of that was very accessible from very close to Harbour cottage. Right now I’m planning my next stay at Harbour cottage!
