Cottages in Alciston
Alciston is a small pretty village lying on the edge of the South Downs in East Sussex , which makes it ideally placed for the great walks that surround it. It can only be driven into by a single width road, which is also the exit. The village boasts many thatched cottages, a medieval tithe barn, an ancient farm and a 13th century flint church. There is also a good pub which is celebrated for its traditional home-cooked food.
