For motor car and horse racing enthusiasts, Goodwood is just under 10 miles away, making this a perfect base to enjoy an exciting summer of racing and events. The entrance hall has bike and boot storage, for keen cyclists and walkers who can take advantage of close access to many miles of the South Downs National Park. The fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room offers a great space to gather and enjoy some local Sussex produce from the butcher, fishmonger, and deli’s right on your doorstep. The double aspect living room with log burner is a lovely space to relax and watch the world go by, with views overlooking the marketplace and the town beyond.

Out and About:
Situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the river Arun is Arundel Castle, one of the most well-preserved castles in the country. Medieval festivals, jousting tournaments, history weekends, open air theatre and plant fairs take place throughout the year. The river Arun, which gives the town its name, flows through Arundel and can be used for kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding or simply follow the walking trail along the river to Amberley Castle, located in the picturesque village of Amberley at the foot of the South Downs. Arundel wetland centre is a great place to visit and discover the wonder of wetlands and get closer to nature. Leave the car behind and jump on a train from central London, Arundel station is only 450 metres from the high street.
