Reviews

A lovely property in a quiet and restful location with much wildlife around. Well equipped and very clean.

Mrs H,

We just did not want to leave at anytime during our week there. The baby owls just fledged, amazing variety of wild life and SO quiet & peaceful ☺️ Really fully equipped with everything we needed.

Mr M,

From the moment we left the lane to drive up to the Owl House we could feel the relaxation just wave over us both. There isn't anything that we'd change at all. The silence other than birds is beautiful and the views - oh my goodness. The settee is extremely comfortable alongside the huge bed. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of cutlery and pans (we've previously stayed in other accommodation and had four of everything - even with a dishwasher! But not here). The shower was so easy to use and a great pressure with lots of hot water. We stayed at the house for a few mornings and just appreciated the atmosphere (We even read a book each! Not something we don't often.) The wildlife is just like sitting on a set of Spring Watch - we saw so many varieties of birds including the beautiful owls. After a day out it's a perfect spot to unwind and we'd love to return at some point. Neil & Wendy the owners are so helpful and friendly. We stayed for 14 nights and we really didn't want to leave at all.

Mrs S,

We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped - we tend to cook for ourselves rather than eating out and the kitchen provided everything that we needed. A quiet spot to relax and unwind - ideal location for walking and visiting local places of interest - lots of National Trust sites within easy reach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Mrs B,

WOW, A wonderful stylish property with views to die for. We had a great time visiting several national trust places and also Rye. None of them too far away. We also had a lovely dinner in The Castle pub at Bodiam. It was lovely to come back to this really cosy place. Weather wasn't great so we were unable to sit outside but perhaps next time!!!!!

Mrs P,

An excellent property in a great location close to many places to visit. Spotlessly clean and friendly owners

Mr W,

Wonderful weekend in every way, superb cottage, wonderful location, sheer bliss cannot fault anything. We will definitely return.

Mr J,

A very comfortable few days staying in Owl House. A thoughtful bright design, welcoming interior, well equipped with a very good range of appliances and utensils, and some very helpful supplies provided, thank you. Exceptionally peaceful location too with a very comfy bed. Enjoyed hearing about the area from Neil - a friendly host. Enjoyed watching the wildlife in the evening, especially the owls going off hunting, the arrival of swallows, and a brown hare passing through.

Mr B,

This accommodation is just perfect. It was well equipped with everything you need. The views are amazing with countryside from every window. Lovely sunrises and sunsets can be seen. The resident owls were an added bonus. Can't wait to return.

Mrs B,

Absolutely beautiful cottage, everything high spec and very comfortable. Very well-equipped. Can't fault it, we loved our week in the Owl House!

Ms C,

Owl House is tastefully furnished to a very high standard, the location is stunning, in absolutely peaceful surroundings.

Mr P,

Lovely property with everything you need. Idyllic location.

Mrs H,

What a gorgeous location. Quiet and peaceful with only the occasional blet from the sheeps in the next field. Allowed to walk the vine yard and fields if you wanted or sit on the patio with a chilled glass of something. Mae traveled around the East Sussex coast to visit some beautiful beaches and towns. Had an amazing, relaxing time in The Owl House.

Mrs W,

Gorgeous accommodation & surroundings with wonderful wildlife literally on the premises. Fantastic holiday. Thanks. Mr B April 2018
