Description
Stable Cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for couples or small families and is located adjacent to the owner's farmhouse in the stunning West Sussex countryside. Situated in 70 acres of stud farm, guests are welcome to enjoy the wonderful walks through the grounds and in the summer months have shared use of the outdoor solar heated swimming pool. The rural countryside views are stunning and can be especially enjoyed from the garden area which is a haven of tranquillity. The open plan interior of the cottage has been thoughtfully designed with seating arranged for watching TV or enjoying a book. The kitchen is well equipped and the master bedroom has a king size bed and TV. The twin bedroom is spacious and can be themed for children with lots of bedtime reading. Wisborough Green is a typical English village, within walking distance from the cottage and has its own quintessential village green, shop and pub. The surrounding area has everything from fairytale castles to glorious stately homes, motor racing and horse racing at the Goodwood Estate and the Festival Theatre in the cathedral city of Chichester. There is walking and cycling in the South Downs National Park, ancient woodlands to explore and impressive coastal scenery all the way from The Witterings to Brighton. Within walking distance to the village of Wisborough Green which is a hive of activity with many events throughout the year including a regular Farmers Market. There is a village green, shop, cafe, pub and church. Discover Petworth House and Gardens, polo at Cowdray, the historic market town of Midhurst, motor and horse racing at Goodwood. Visit the cathedral city of Chichester with its theatre and shopping, the fairytale castles of Arundel and Amberley. Walk or cycle in the South Downs National Park or attempt a section of the South Downs Way - linking Winchester and Eastbourne. Think champagne and strawberries for the best food and drink and enjoy the wonderful range of scenery that West Sussex has to offer from rolling downs to stunning coastal paths. There are beaches all along the coast at West Wittering, Littlehampton and Brighton and lots of wealden villages in between.
