There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. A little further along is quieter Old Hunstanton, which is a picturesque village with mellow carrstone houses, an impressive medieval church and a championship golf course, there is also a new eighteen hole golf course at nearby Heacham Manor. The  nature reserves at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme Dunes are just a short distance away. The coastal footpaths in the area are great for walking and bird-watching. The Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately eight miles away, a wonderful day out with its cycling, walking and picnic opportunites.

Reviews

Had a great week at this lovely property, weather was a bonus. Great location, plenty of walks in either direction on coastal path or the beach. Property is fully equipped and comfortable. Conservatory is a lovey sunny spot to sit in overlooking the long lovely garden. Have booked for next year!

Mr C,

A beautiful clean well equipped cottage with a fabulous garden. Easy beach access and a lovely clifftop walk to town. Easy parking for three cars.

Ms L,

A comfortable very well equipped house close to the beach and in walking distance to Hunstanton. We liked most the very spacious conservatory and the dog was happy in the large garden. A real cosy home from home we recommend very gladly. Only negative aspect: the stair to the upper floor is very steep. Can be difficult for elder and very young oeople.

Mrs S,

Lovely house in great position.

Mr B,

Very well situated for the beach and town. Beautiful garden, very dog friendly

Mrs B,

Love this cottage. Our second visit. Already booked for next year! Lovely conservatory and extensive garden. Kitchen very well equipped. Beds very comfortable

Mrs D,

The cottage was in a fantastic location close to the beach. The cottage was clean well maintained and inviting The garden was large and lovely for us and the dog The stairs were a bit difficult to negotiate but we were made aware of this prior to booking. Access to the beach hut at an additional cost was a bonus.

Mrs F,

Wonderful, large house in a beautiful location with seaviews. The garden is an amazing size with plenty of covered outdoor seating enough for more than the 6 adults our party consisted of. The house was well equipped, clean & comfortable. Frequent bus services stopped close by. I've been holidaying in Hunstanton for 50 years, firstly as a child with my mum & dad and then as an adult with my own children. Now adults themselves, they wanted to bring their partners to see this beautiful part of North Norfolk and this house did not disappoint - it was the perfect sized accommodation to comfortably house us all. The conservatory was an added bonus with its 3 sofas. All in all, a perfect house for our family group of 6 adults. Original Cottages was also brilliant, with great & plentiful communications throughout.

Mrs N,

The house is comfortable, very well stocked with everything you need. Amazing location and lovely big garden.

Mrs Q,

Spacious house, plenty of storage, great parking, great location (fab beach, pub nearby), lots of towels, crockery and extras like nightlights. Seaview/ sunsets from the bedroom. Old fashioned fixtures / fittings give a home feel but decorative stuff reduces usable space, esp. on dressers. Struggled with opening windows and TV said it was smart but no iPlayer. Some areas would benefit from a deep clean. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Owner friendly and helpful.

Miss R,

We had a great stay and felt very at home at the cottage. The house is well equipped and spacious. A great location for walking to the beach or into Hunstanton town.
