Field Cottage

Enjoying a superb position on the edge of the tiny village of Melmerby this is one of two cosy cottages set in a quiet and peaceful position adjacent to the owners' former farmhouse with fantastic views over Coverdale. The cottages have been converted from old farm buildings and retain a great deal of the original character with a wealth of exposed beams and feature stonework. Comfortably furnished, each cottage has a small conservatory and a patio from which the views can really be appreciated. There is also a large garden for children to play in, and a shared laundry room. 

Melmerby itself is just over four miles from the traditional market town of Leyburn and is therefore an ideal base from which to explore the whole of the Yorkshire Dales. There are plenty of excellent walks from the cottages with open moors and country rambles available throughout Coverdale.

Entrance: Conservatory with table and chairs.
Lounge/Diner: Wood burning stove, smart-enabled TV, radio, dining table and chairs.
Kitchen: Induction hob, microwave and fridge with icebox.

Bathroom: Bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

Pets: Two pets welcome.

Parking: Ample off-road parking.
Garden: Secure courtyard patio with furniture and access to shared garden.
Heating: Central heating fuelled by biomass boiler. Wood burning stove (welcome fuel included).
Short breaks: May be possible in the off-peak season - please ring for details.

Notes: Towels are provided. Cot and highchair available. Shared laundry room has washing machine and tumble dryer. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. The mobile phone signal is variable. Smoking is not allowed at this property.
