Reviews

The cottage is in a great location. Great equipped kitchen and living space roomy and comfortable. Beds comfortable . Could not find fault with the property.

Mrs H,

Lovely property and position, great for walks and touring, most items needed are provided, out of season you will appreciate the open fire, kitchen is quite well equiped with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and plenty of cooking utensils.

Mr G,

Generally this bungalow was nice. Bit dated but spacious. On arrival the large kitchen window was stuck open! Not able to close it, we had a night with an open window! We rang the company the next morning to tell them that we will have to leave if this isn't fixed. After several phone calls we were told that a joiner will come out that evening. We took valuables out with us. The annoying thing was this window had been this way a long time. The joiner came and the window was fixed. Apart from this, the bungalow was nice clean, spacious and in a nice quiet spot. Lots of great walks nearby. Negatives- On arrival, couldn't get in until 5pm! On the last day, had to leave by 9am! Lost a full day. Sofa was very hard, not comfortable. Blackout curtains needed. Small double beds. Positives- clean, spacious, welcome biscuits and milk, well equipped, lots of great walks on the doorstep, pub walking distance. Plenty of nice outdoor space.

Mrs K,

An adequate well equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful position. Ideal for a family holiday.

Mrs P,

A lovely little house, light, sunny and convenient. Dream location, close to the village pond and green, and 'secret garden'. Minutes away from permanent ice cream supply in cafe, and very short walk from the pub. The views of sea and hills are bewitching. Well placed for the beaches at Studland.

Mrs F,

Wild Hill is set in a lovely quiet location with parking for two large cars. The gardens are beautiful but only dog friendly if your dog can be trusted not to roam as not enclosed at all. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bungalow is perfect for a family stay.

Mrs K,

A great location but tired around the edges

Mr A,

Lovely bungalow in a fabulous location, garden is beautiful!

Mr K,

Fantastic location a mile from the SW coast path. Spacious and comfortable cottage, well supplied kitchen. Very peaceful.

Prof O,

Wild Hill was a very comfortable property and was clean and well equipped. As dog owners we were delighted to discover walks straight from the doorstep. We did feel that the paving stones up to the entrance needed a little work as grass had grown over them and it was slippery when we had rain. We understand the difficulty in finding housekeeping staff, however it does seem unrealistic to expect guests to depart by 9am and not to arrive before 5pm. This is a complete day of the holiday wasted - disappointing! Having said this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would like to return if the arrival & departure times were not so early/late.

Mrs B,

Lovely village in which to spend a holiday.Great walks from property without having to use the car

Mrs V,

A lovely cottage in a wonderful location. The rise in price is not unexpected but makes us think about possible alternatives.
