Description

Situated on the outskirts of Bethlehem's rural village lies this large, detached farmhouse with private hot tub, roaring wood burner and far-reaching views across the Tywi Valley. Surrounded by rich farmland in every direction, this pet-friendly property is the perfect retreat for some peace and tranquility. There's a spacious country-style kitchen, welcoming living area with Smart TV and a separate snug room with games. Enjoy family meals in front of the fire in the dining area before spending the evening star-gazing from the comfort of the hot tub. All three bedrooms look out onto green pasture, with mountains views from the family bathroom. Llwyncelyn is based on a working farm, rearing calves for the dairy farm with the occasional visit from their 'famous' donkeys that live in the shed!

Bethlehem village is around half a mile from the house where you'll find a village hall that opens up as a cafe every Sunday in the Summer months. For convenience, Llangadog village (1 mi) has a post office, butcher, grocery shop and a local pub serving great food. The colourful, picturesque town of Llandeilo is around 15 minutes' by car and home to a fantastic array of local eateries and pubs such as The Cawdor Hotel, Gin Haus Deli and The Plough as well as wonderful independent cafes and stores including Toast, Peppercorn and Heavenly. For some wonderful days out, visit the beautiful grounds of Aberglasney Gardens and The National Botanic Gardens of Wales or marvel at the impressive sights at Dinefwr Park and Carreg Cennen Castle. Slightly further west is the historic market town of Carmarthen, thought to be one of the oldest in Wales, and another hot spot for delis, cafes and boutique stores. Be sure to stop off at Wright's in Llanarthney on the way to the house for some delicious local produce, home-made cakes and sandwiches.

Mr M,

Loved the house, very clean and all the things you’d need for a holiday away from home.

Mrs G,

Beautiful cottage, in a stunning secluded location. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Ms S,

This farmhouse is just great. Two of us and the dog had a long weekend stay and would definitely return. It's a lovely break if you want to get away from it all. The house is spacious, warm, private and clean. Plenty of parking space and the hot tub is lovely. Huge, comfy beds and a great TV to put your feet up and chill. There is a fab wood burner, which kept us cosy and warm. Highly recommended.

Past Customer,

Myself and two friends were looking to stay in a beautiful part of Wales in a comfortable quiet location. Llwyncelyn Farmhouse fitted our requirements perfectly. We each had our own bedroom and enjoyed visiting some of the many castles, gardens and walks in the area. The kitchen was well equipped and big enough that we could all do our share of the cooking. I would recommend the Cawdor Arms Hotel in Llandeilo for a superb lunch. We only used the log burner on the first evening as the weather was so good and then relaxed in the hot tub the other evenings. The Bullock Gang in the field near the house kept us amused with their antics. Altogether a very enjoyable break.
