Reviews

We had a great week in this extremely well equipped cottage. Plenty of space for our family of two adults and two teens. Very comfortable beds and cosy sitting room. Excellent utility area for coats and shoes/muddy boots, with washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage had everything we needed and is in fact, the most well equipped we've stayed in (bedding, towels, hand soap, kitchen towels, loo paper, washing up equipment, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, pegs, tin foil). A real home from home and the welcome pack was a lovely touch too. Would highly recommend.

Mrs P,

The cottage is located in scenic location. Amazing views just from the window. Cottage was tidy and felt comfortable. 10 mins drive to all amenities in Machynlleth. Ample parking space. Calm neighbourhood.

Mr S,

Lovely house in a great location, surrounded by sheep, right on the edge of the Mach loop. The town of Machynlleth is worth a visit on market day. Aberdyfi beach is beautiful with a really nice town.

Mrs F,

Lovely house we would heartily recommend and we would stay again. Lots of room and comfortable furniture and beds. Spotlessly clean. Loved the views and we thoroughly enjoyed having visiting hens ob the lane and seeing all the sheep. Welcome pack nice touch.

Ms S,

Our ratings show our high level of satisfaction. Thanks for having us.

Mr M,

excellent house, and location, really enjoyed the stay

Dr C,

The house is very well laid out, with every room being large enough. The rooms were very clean, as were the items in them. I think the photos on the website are taken with a special 'estate agents' camera, as the rooms are not a big as they look, but still big enough. Something that I feel should be mentioned but wasn't in the details. Is that this is an attached property. Machynlleth is a lovely town, with lots of interesting independent shops, and cafés, and a good place to visit. Also worth a visit in the Ospreys Centre/nature reserve. Ospreys are migrants, so the time of year is important if you want to catch a sight of them. To sum up, we spent a peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable week at Pwllglas Thank you to the hosts for the obvious effort made.

Mr G,

The cottage was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what we required and the family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The welcome pack was a kind gesture - especially the Welsh Cakes. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to coming back in the future.

Ms O,

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage felt homely and place where you feel at home. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The first thing you see in the morning are the beautiful views from the bedroom window. Both gardens peaceful and relaxing. Welcome hamper was a lovely touch and very generous. Would definitely recommend.

Ms L,

Lovely property with a picturesque view, definitely worth the money. Never were a dull moment during over stay. Kids really enjoyed it.

Mrs V,

Mrs Alessandra P,
