Reviews

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rhyd y Fen, the owner was excellent in providing clear information via WhatsApp on how to find the property, where to park and even gave us an earlier arrival which we appreciated! I asked plenty of questions about the area and he gave lots of recommendations. The cottage itself was just lovely, you can feel how much love and care has gone into it and how proud the owners are, from restoring the property to what it is today, reading their journey was interesting. Enjoying the hot tub in the garden on a sunny day was bliss, the garden itself is a little oasis, and we enjoyed making use of the fresh herbs growing organically. The fire was super cosy on an evening and we felt we had so much space. The cottage was both cosy, spacious, light and airy. The welcome pack was so generous too, and unexpected! This felt like a gift upon arrival, especially the delicious cake and fresh eggs. Thank you so much for providing a much needed break away and time to switch off.

Mrs R,

What a beautiful house, so comfortable & well kept. We loved our stay here.

Mrs L,

Lovely cottage, excellent hosts who went out of their way to ensure we were happy. Would recommend

Mr J,

This was our second stay here and it was as good as we remember. The cottage is lovely and cozy and has everything you need. It's great that you can walk to the shops but still feel like you're out of the way when you are in the cottage. The roof over the hot tub is great as you can use it in all weather.

Mrs T,

This was a lovely, comfortable house in which to spend a week, in a good place to explore West Wales from. The hot tub, pizza oven and bbq were fab. There was a sizeable, delicious welcome pack. Almost everything you could need was supplied.

Mrs H,

A wonderful property; thoughtful diligence to decor and everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hamper of: cake, eggs, coffee, butter, milk, wine, and dog treats were lovely and selection of books was appreciated:). The town has an arty and relaxed atmosphere, though the beach is boulders & pebbles- We really enjoyed Tresaith and a trek at Treath Bach, which was stunning. Thank you for a lovely holiday, Emma, Sean, Alba & Louis the Boxer. X

Mrs D,

Fantastic place, cottage had everything you could have wished for. Great location and lovely and quiet. The hot tub was lovely to relax in. The welcome pack was great and added bonus and the house felt like home. We will definitely return. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Mrs R,

Cottage was fantastic, lovely little touches, milk in fridge, fruit loaf, various things, nothing left not covered!!

Mr L,

Lovely cottage, thought the shower had been overlooked as blocked with hair. Easily removed, rest of the cottage was clean. Great location for amenities. Cottage also well stocked with a wonderful welcome pack. Would love to come again.

Mrs C,

Great house, great location. Was very well presented and felt like home for our week. Couldn't fault anything and would consider staying again in the future.

Mr K,

This cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and ideally placed to explore Aberaeron and the surrounding area. Having a hot tub under cover, with both a pizza oven and a barbecue, is a real bonus. We loved everything about our weekend there (and even saw dolphins from a boat from New Quay!)

Mrs C,

Amazing property - we have stayed in a few and this is by far the best

Mrs S,

A beautiful home from home, perfect. Super location, perfect. Hot tub, perfect. An incredible, very generous, welcome basket, perfect. Thank you for our perfect holiday.

Ms G,

This cottage is a gem with everything you need to make your stay memorable. From the hot tub to the log fire it was perfect. We will definitely return.

Mr J,

Excellent holiday property with all the home comforts. Great location to get around. Lots of places to visit and great foodies.

Mrs M,

A perfect stay in every way!

Mrs P,

What a wonderful stay we have had! From the moment we arrived we loved the peace and quiet the house provided. The house is a wonderful home from home with everything you need. The layout of the house was perfect for relaxing and spending time with family but you also had space to retreat away and snuggle up with a book if you wanted to. We loved the log burner, it was fabulous and kept us warm everyday! The hot tub was a huge highlight and we made sure we made good use of it daily. The little town of Aberaeron is idillic - a place full of lovely little independent shops and the friendliest people. We will definitely be back as we loved every moment here - restful, relaxing and good for the soul! Thank you for providing such a wonderful home and the best welcome basket!
