Description
Wishing Well is a lovely little cottage for two, in a group of three, situated opposite the owners’ farmhouse in a quiet, rural location within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It is a short drive or about 20 minutes’ walk by footpath and lanes to the pretty coastal village of Little Haven, with its three pubs and small beach (dogs welcome all year round) and a similar distance to Broad Haven, with village shop and other facilities, and a long sandy beach (dog restrictions apply to half the beach from May to September). This is an excellent location for touring the coastline and the many interesting villages, Castles and other attractions of central Pembrokeshire.
Accommodation in the cottage, which is all on one level, comprises:
Living Room: a spacious room with beamed ceiling and quarry tiled floor, some exposed stone walls, woodburning stove, leather sofa and armchair, dining table and chairs, TV with BluRay/DVD player.
Kitchen: Well fitted with modern units, electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Bedroom: Comfortably furnished with pine built-in clothes storage, super king size bed. Attractive exposed stone wall.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, WC and basin.
Outside: Parking on the yard to the front of the cottage. Extensive shared, landscaped gardens to the rear, with large pond, seating areas and access to adjacent farmland. Shared laundry facility with token-operated washing machine and tumble dryer.
Wishing Well is in an ideal location for visiting Skomer Island to see seals, puffins and other wildlife. The cathedral city of St David’s is a pleasant 17 mile drive away. There are excellent facilities for water skiing, surfing, sailing, coasteering and other watersports at Dale, Newgale and other coastal towns, as well as a host of quaint little Pembrokeshire fishing villages and to visit. Further afield, the estuary views from the Cleddau Bridge (toll) are impressive and take you on to the colourful harbour town of Tenby and nearby seaside village of Saundersfoot. An ideal location for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with attractions and activities nearby to suit all tastes and interests.
Wishing Well is tucked away in the central corner of this group of three single-storey cottages, which can be booked together as a group to accommodate up to 8 people. Please see Fenton Cottages for full details.
