Description

This seafront apartment is ideally located at the top of Tenby's popular High Street, within the historic town walls and directly opposite the North Beach. The beach enjoys a huge stretch of golden sand and connects to the town's famous harbour. Take a boat trip out from the harbour to the tranquillity of Caldey Island during the main season and keep your eye out for local wildlife. The town centre boasts an excellent selection of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, so there's plenty to keep you busy. For days out, head to Manor Wildlife Park (3 miles) or Oakwood Theme Park (11 miles).

As you enter this second floor apartment, you are welcomed into a well-appointed hallway with storage for coats and shoes. Head right into your open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, which enjoys fantastic views through the period bay window onto the North Beach and harbour. There are two sumptuous sofas centred around the wall-mounted Smart TV and DVD player. There are a further two armchairs placed in the bay window, so you can relax and take in the stunning views. There's a dining table for four adjacent to the contemporary kitchen - fully equipped to prepare a hearty breakfast or light supper on your return from a day at the beach. Head down the hallway and you will find two bedrooms. The first is a generously proportioned super king-size zip-and-link room (that can be made up as a twin room on request) with convenient en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and sink. The master bedroom also benefits from built in wardrobes and cupboard space for storage. The second bedroom is a twin room with built in wardrobe storage. Completing the apartment is the shower room with walk-in shower and an additional separate WC.

Although this apartment doesn't have any designated outside space, the North beach is less than 200 yards away on foot.

Reviews

Fantastic property. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Views from bay window amazing.

Mrs C,

Had an amazing time here so comfortable and location was excellent would highly recommend the beach retreat to anyone that’s going xx

Mrs D,

This is a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. Warm, kitted out well and clean. If you love the sea, you’re gonna love this place.

Mr M,

This is a comfy and really cosy flat in a good, central location on Tenby's High Street. Although there's no parking, Five Arches Car Park is a brisk 5 minute walk away with other options nearby too. The lounge has a large bay window with fantastic views overlooking North Beach. The kitchen is really well equipped, so this is a great choice for those wishing to self cater. The beds were really comfortable as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Mr S,

Ideal location, over looking the harbour! windows could have done with a clean, to better the full beautiful views! modern and clean throughout ! Fully equipped, would stay here again.

Mrs K,

A lovely flat, well positioned, well decorated and well equipped. The view is amazing! The rooms are all nicely spacious. Nice TV, nice kitchen, comfy beds, nice bedding, comfy sofas and chairs. Probably my only slight complaint would be that the upstairs neighbours need to get some carpet as they seem quite noisy. Is definitely stay here again, in fact I've already booked it again for next year.

Mr W,

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The view is spectacular and the apartment itself was beautiful and had everything you could need. It is situated right across from the beach and in the heart of Tenby’s town shops, restaurants and pubs. Loved every minute and will definitely be going back.

Miss C,

Location, space and view ideal.

Mr K,

Beautiful flat, amazing view from front window, very well equipped and comfortable.

Mrs T,

Beach Retreat is a fantastic place from location to decor. The view is mesmerising and we lost many an hour just watching the world go by. The accommodation is fresh and in excellent condition. There are two flights of stairs to tackle in order to get to the flat which could pose an issue to those less able. The location was close to all amenities, attractions and restaurants - perfect.

Mrs M,

Great apartment. Wonderful view.

Mr B,

Beautiful views from the large bay window and a very spacious apartment will be coming back soon Thanks

Mr L,

We loved staying in this 2nd floor flat overlooking the beach in Tenby, Do not be put off by the frontage of the flat. Once you are in, and up the two flights of stairs, you enter an incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious flat. Quality bedding and furniture, everything you could imagine needing in the kitchen and such wonderful views. We carefully moved one of the sofas to the window so, with the two arm chairs, we were all available to admire the views. The best thing about the views are that they are changing all the time whether it be the tide, the weather, activity on the beach or people, passing by, Double glazing makes this a very quiet flat apart from occasional noise from upstairs (but nothing that bothered us). Very efficient central heating which can be left on timed, thermostat adjusted and/or turned on manually to override the timer. You can’t help but love this flat. Location is great as, while being on the seafront, it is also 20 or so steps from the shops and a maximum of 5 minute walk to the little Tescos. There is also a bigger Sainsbury’s less than 10 minutes away, We used two car parks, one by Poundland just round the corner and on one occasion the multi-storey above Sainsbury’s for a full 48 hour period. We suggest you book the holiday and then factor in the parking cost in your mind before you go then it doesn’t seem so bad when you get there! Parking was £10 or £12 a day and the machines can take cash or we used the phone app to renew each day from the comfort of the flat. Most days we explored the town and roads above the two beaches, walked on the beaches and explored the little shops but there are plenty of places to go from here that are farther afield. We would have liked to have taken the boat from the harbour below us over to Caldey Island but the weather didn’t match our timings. We do recommend you drive out to St David’s to see the ruined, but very interesting, Bishop’s Palace and St David’s Cathedral. It was an hour and quarter drive each way and we spent most of the day there including a lovely lunch in the refectory cafe in the cathedral. A fantastic holiday in an apartment We wish we lived in!!

Mrs T,

Such a great location, the flat is beautiful and we had a fantastic time. I miss the view over the bay already!

Mrs W,

Beautiful views, well equipped and comfortable beds. Perfect

Mrs H,

Great property. Ideal location with views over North beach and the harbour, especially from the 2 seats that are in the bay window. All amenities are new and modern. I would suggest if mobility is an issue, this isn't the property for you as there are 2 staircases to the property, otherwise excellent. Will certainly look to book again on our next visit.
