Description
Luxurious detached house in a unique riverside location on Afon Llugwy near Capel Curig, right in the heart of Eryri/Snowdonia National Park. Perfect for friends and families to enjoy this beautiful area nestled by the breathtaking Cobden’s Falls. Join the footpath from the garden gate and walk over the road to the hotel for a meal out. Capel Curing is 0.75 miles with traditional eateries and shops, and footpaths up to Moel Siabod and Yr Wyddfa – Snowdon’s summit, Crafnant and Geirionydd lakes. Betws-y-Coed, 4 miles away, is renowned as a haven for walkers and mountain bikers alike, offering a range of shops, restaurants and bars with the picturesque Swallow Falls waterfall just 2 miles away. The village of Llanberis is 9 miles away, where visitors can take the train up Snowdon or along the lake, hire boats or swim in the stunning Padarn Lake.
Park your car, admire the stunning location and walk round to the side door and into this luxurious house. The boot room has plenty of space for your outdoor attire before you start exploring. Walk through to the stylish utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Continue through to the spacious kitchen/diner with bifold doors onto the riverside deck. Open the doors and listen to the river and birdsong. There are interesting details and artwork throughout the house with all the thoughtful extras designed with your comfort in mind. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen is elegantly designed with all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal. When ready, gather at the dining table which is the perfect setting to enjoy the meal and plan your holiday activities. After a full day out, relax in the gorgeous lounge with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a selection of books. For cosy nights in, switch on the wood burner-effect electric fire. Also on this floor is a convenient separate WC. When ready to retire, head up the feature staircase and choose from three attractive bedrooms; the king-size with a fabulous en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, a double room with riverside views and, finally, a lovely twin. To complete the accommodation on this floor, you will also find an elegant shower room for a leisurely start to the day.
Heading outside, there’s a landscaped enclosed garden with feature planting and unrivalled views overlooking the Afon Llugwy cascading down Cobdens Falls, which is a sight to behold. Embrace the sounds and views on the covered deck with comfortable seating and a table, a second seating area with furniture. Open the garden gate to join the footpaths and start exploring this glorious area on the doorstep. There is a bike bar to lock your bikes too, space for your kayaks and paddleboards in the garden.
