Description

Escape to this detached family retreat set in the pretty village of Mynytho, with an elevated position commanding stunning coastal views from the house and a large garden. It’s the perfect holiday home for families and friends to enjoy the coast and countryside. Walk in the rolling hills of Mynytho, and take in the scenic landscapes and stunning views of the sea including St Tudwals Island. Spend a day at some of the sandy beaches at Abersoch (2 miles), Porth Neigwl/Hell's Mouth (4 miles) and Llanbedrog (just over a mile) perfect for sunbathing, swimming, beachcombing, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing. Visit Plas Glyn y Weddw, an art gallery and cafe (2 miles) or take a trip to Pwllheli (5 miles) a bustling town with a marina, shops and eateries.

Step inside the porch and start exploring this stunning house. To the right is the sociable kitchen/diner with glorious views over the garden and out to sea. You will also find a separate WC and the utility boot room with plenty of space for your outdoor attire. The kitchen is well equipped to rustle up a meal, and when ready, the dining table is perfectly positioned by the window to enjoy the food and lovely views. After dinner, relax in the spacious lounge with a feature fireplace and wood burner-effect electric fire, Smart TV and comfortable sofas. The conservatory, flooded with natural light, is ideal for a game of table football or to just relax and embrace the view. There is also the library snug to retire to with a Smart TV and sofas for cosy nights in. When ready for bed, choose from five bedrooms, on the ground floor is the lovely twin, heading upstairs there is another twin, king-size (zip-and-link can be twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC, a double with en-suite shower and WC, and the lovely single. Also on this floor is the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. This is a lovely house to wake up in.

Nestling at the top of the garden, the house has a paved patio, lawns, an enclosed area for your dog, a swing and stunning coastal views wherever you are. Dotted with garden furniture, the patio is the perfect place to bask in the sun or simply sit and relax. Gather at the table and chairs for a feast alfresco with the charcoal BBQ. There is also a tree swing in the garden for all to enjoy.

Reviews

Amazing House ideal for large family loads of room and the garden is incredible. Exceeded all our expectations.

Mr M,

Wonderful, spacious cottage. Lovely views down to Abersoch and out to sea. The large garden was a hit with our grandchild. Highly recommended.

Dr V,

Lovely large house in a big well maintained garden. 10 min drive to Abersoch. Great views

Mr L,

Excellent property and grounds, very close to abersoch with amazing views. We were incredibly comfortable and felt it was a home away from home. Very well equipped (though a teapot and hair dryer would have been appreciated it didn’t impact on the stay). Perfect for kids and mixed generation family party so everyone has space and enough room to hang out together as well. Would love to visit again.

Mrs H,

The house is very comfortable, a home away from home with everything you need to just sit back and enjoy. The location is outstanding with beautiful views and the gardens are a credit to whoever tends them.

Mrs T,

Very comfortable cottage well located for numerous beaches close by. A true home from home, we really enjoyed our stay. Great ensuite showers that washed all the sand away!

Mr O,

A wonderfully welcoming house and garden in a superb location

Mrs R,

Wonderful holiday house specified to a very high standard. Amazing views, wonderful grounds. So much space!! There were a few 'quirks' but had a quick response from the team via email. Very clean & nice modern furnishings. Very high quality overall.

Mrs N,

This house has fabulous views across 2 bays. The bedroom accommodation and en-suites are fresh and comfortable. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space or equally all be together in one room. The fridge is a really good size and there are plenty of cleaning products on site. The garden is large but not massively usable. There is a new large picnic table on the front patio which is great in the evening sunshine. Mats and shoe racks in the hall help keep the sand out of the rest of the house. Handy for Abersoch, Morfa Nefyn and other beautiful spots in the day. You do need to be fairly self-sufficient with catering as nothing is within walking distance in the evening. Take the distances in the description as a rough guide as we found the pub and beach were further than stated. The BBQ is not big so don't expect to cook for 9 on it. There were several items missing that we would have expected to find in the kitchen, but we have given feedback so hopefully they will be there for you. It's a great house for a celebration event; we would go back.

Ms W,

Lovely spacious, clean and well-equipped property. Great location, giving tranquility but well-placed for amenities and exploring this beautiful part of the world. The views are stunning. The EV charger was much appreciated.

Mr S,

A very comfortable, well-equipped house for large family holidays in a wonderful position. I appreciated the EV charging. There are many things to see and do and some lovely restaurants, pubs and places to eat.

Mr S,

We had an excellent week's holiday, as weather was not good we found the games room particularly useful. There were problems with the heating but they were sorted out. It would have been desirable to have more information in the folder, like what was required on leaving.

Mrs P,

Excellent house for a large family / group . Certainly like home from home they have thought of most things . We were lucky enough to have half the week lovely weather so made the most of the garden we took a gazebo as we had a baby with us and celebrated his 1st birthday with family which was making special memories .

Mrs K,

As a family of 8 we throughly enjoyed our time here. This house was in a great location with wonderful views. The house is very well maintained, immaculately clean and very well equipped, it literally is home from home. We will definitely be visiting again!
