Extremely helpful and very good service, thanks so much

Mr L,

1 weeks stay- 4 Adults …. Well what can I say, we stayed in this lovely cabin over the new year period and had the best time. Cannot rate the property enough and the owners who had a great knowledge of the area. Very friendly, always at hand but not intrusive, There is everything you need in the cabin, plus more. Very cosy place, comfy beds, plenty cooking utensils plus the hot tub which is a bonus. The beach is a short stroll away, so is the village of Pwllheli. My husband loved feeding the donkeys, who came to greet us every morning, they were so friendly. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this lovely accommodation. A big thank you goes out to the owners for our wonderful stay plus the lovely gesture of a welcome pack. Sending you all the very best for 2025

Mrs G,

A beautiful, comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage, in a good location for exploring North Wales. Great hosts, and donkeys! Recommended.

Mr W,

The Stables has been adapted to a wonderful standard, it sits within a lovely position with wonderful views. The donkeys are also a highlight and we're lovely to feed and pet. Kate was our favourite and liked to boop noses with our Bella through the fence. The hot tub is wonderfully positioned to enjoy the view and the addition of the enclosure makes the space usable for all weather. The location makes for a great base to explore so many wonderful beaches and other such walks. Everything we needed was catered for and the welcome goodies were greatly recieved. John and Dawn were wonderful hosts very friendly and welcoming. It truly felt like home from home. We will be sure to return and wish them every success for their own home renovations, which if are anything like the stable renovation with be wonderful! Thanks to you both for a relaxing and superb stay! :)

Miss N,

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the stables which is a wonderful property. The owners Dawn and John have done a fantastic conversion and set you up with everything you need. The Hot tub is an added extra for me, you can sit and unwind to take in the views at the end of the day after exploring north Wales. Having the Donkeys and Sheep next to us was also very engaging for our 7yr old and she enjoyed feeding them. We also took our dog and found the environment to be very safe for him, the owners were also very kind in looking after him while we have a couple of trips. I cannot thank the owners enough for being so welcoming and for being wonderful hosts

Mr P,

This holiday home is absolutely brilliant. It has everything we needed for our stay, and is immaculately appointed. The views from the deck and the hot tub are breath taking, and the friendly donkeys in the adjoining field kept our two kids entertained (we had to go to Asda to buy two bags of carrots to feed the donkeys). The location is perfect for easy access to Pwllheli, Abersoch and Nefyn, and is incredibly tranquil when trying to relax at the end of the day or first thing in the morning with a coffee. I would definitely take our family again. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality

Mr B,

The Stables was well set up for our weeks stay with 3 adults and our medium sized dog. The garden is well secured to ensure our furry friend was able to roam with no chance of escape, and had loads of space to wander, sniff and get to know the sheep, lambs and friendly donkeys. The outdoor decking area with comfy seats was an excellent place to relax after a long day exploring, before we made use of the hot tub just as the sun was setting. There is a sea view from there if the weather is kind. For star gazers, the garden is a brilliant spot to see a full dark sky experience with the naked eye, just a shame we missed the Aurora which was visible across the UK on the night we had departed. The rooms were a good size, and had very comfy beds. The bathroom with separate shower or bath options was also a decent size. The only thing to be aware of is the stairs down between the various levels, as the property has been adapted brilliantly from what were previously disconnected stables and animal shelters. This was an excellent base for us to explore the coasts of North Wales and Anglesey, as well as allowing easy access into the heart of Snowdonia. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us all a very warm welcome. The tip to visit Nant Gwrtheyrn (The Lost Village) near Nefyn was one we would never have thought of and well worth the trip down the very steep road. There is a car park with café right in the village so no need to park at the top, but take care in wet and winter, as getting back out the 25% gradient would be difficult. Nefyn beach is also well worth a visit at the right tide times. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in Pwllheli as well as a good sized beach for the dog if needed. We would highly recommend this property which is suitable for 4 adults and a pet, and is at the standard to be expected for this price range. Thanks for allowing us to make use of your wonderful holiday home for the week, and we can’t wait to return.
